Milwaukee 2983 is powered by M18 lithium batteries, avoiding the inconvenience of traditional electric hoists needing wiring.
Equipped with a brushless motor, Milwaukee 2983 can provide strong and stable output, lifting up to 1 ton. Moreover, besides standard direction usage, this product can also be used in reverse direction. Users can choose to lock the main unit at the fixed point of the hoist or lock the lifting chain at the fixed point, thus improving work efficiency.
The remote controller is also wireless, allowing control of lifting as well as adjustment of lifting speed. With a remote control distance of 60 feet (18 meters), users can operate the hoist from a safe distance, greatly enhancing work safety.
When the battery level is at 25%, the indicator light on the remote controller will notify users, prompting them to reduce the load and replace the battery in time, rather than during lifting or when suspended mid-air.

It can be carried by one person, but Milwaukee also includes a Packout rolling toolbox for easier transportation.
In terms of price, the kit version is priced at $3999, which includes the main unit, remote controller, 2 12Ah lithium batteries, a rapid charger, and the Packout rolling toolbox. It is expected to be launched in July 2024.
